Introducing Aerapy UV Disinfection Technology

(Please note that some content may refer to our original name, PetAirapy.)

October 19, 2020

Earlier this year, PetAirapy had the opportunity to bring our products to the human space. Along with the veterinary clinics, pet boarding and doggie daycare facilities, animal shelters, and groomers we work with, we now also work with fire departments, human healthcare facilities, dental offices, retail spaces, and other human sector environments. Even though our PetAirapy UV products are for animals and the humans who care for them, understandably, the name PetAirapy isn’t quite the same fit for organizations outside of animal care. So, for this new human space market, we’ve branded our products Aerapy.

Whether branded PetAirapy or Aerapy, it’s the same researched, tested, and study-backed UV disinfection technology we’ve been proud to manufacture—and always strive to improve—since 2008. Moreover, we continue to maintain and grow our proprietary database of existing, new, and emerging pathogens that impact humans and that impact animals, so we know what it takes to help prevent the infectious diseases that affect you and your business. As we work to integrate the two to ensure all of our clients receive the most current infection control information, you’ll hear more about the Aerapy brand, but, rest assured, we remain as dedicated to helping protect the health of animals and the humans who care for them as the day PetAirapy was founded. If you’ve never heard the story of how we started, check out “How a Sweet Shih Tzu Started a Company and Changed Pet Lives.”

We have some really big news we’ll be announcing shortly for both our PetAirapy and Aerapy clients so stay tuned! In the meantime, if there are any businesses near you that could benefit from surface and air cleaning that may not think PetAirapy is for them, let them know about Aerapy—so you can feel as secure walking into their establishments as you do walking into your own.
