PetAirapy Announced as an IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Award Winner

PetAirapy was named the winner for the IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Vendor Award. The awards, nicknamed the Ibbys, were established by the International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) to honor those businesses raising the bar for professionalism and success in the pet care services industry. The 2019 award recipients were determined based on a nomination and independent selection committee process. The winners were announced during a special evening presentation at the Seventh Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Educational Conference & Trade Show on October 1, 2019, at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa in California.
“As the pet care industry continues to explode and competition increases, it’s important to recognize those professionals who are setting themselves apart from the crowd,” said Carmen Rustenbeck, IBPSA’s founder and CEO. “With the IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Awards, we not only wanted to recognize exceptional pet care providers, but also the industry vendors like PetAirapy who help those pet care providers set the gold standard for pet care.”
Industry vendors in contention for the award were nominated earlier this year by pet care providers who are current members of IBPSA members. The nominations required a description of why the pet care provider was nominating the vendor business which was then evaluated by an independent award selection committee. Nominated vendors were also required to be current IBPSA members.
“Winning the IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Vendor Award is particularly meaningful because the nominations came from pet care providers who thought enough of PetAirapy to go through the nomination process,” said Annette Uda, PetAirapy’s founder and president. “We are so proud to be part of IBPSA and work with pet care providers who prioritize the health and safety of their pet clients.”
