DuoGuard Description
Mobile veterinary clinics, animal rescue vehicles, animal transportation, mobile groomers, mobile spay and neuter units, and more are continually exposed to bacteria, viruses, allergens, mold, and other pollutants that can quickly contaminate the air and surfaces inside a vehicle. The patented DuoGuard helps guard against these risks two ways: air disinfection during transport and surface disinfection after transport.
During transport, an integrated fan creates powerful airflow for air disinfection. After transport, once unoccupied, the UV device sanitizes exposed surfaces, after normal cleaning procedures, with the push of a button. The DuoGuard features a sliding panel that keeps the UV-C light fully contained while the air cleaning function is engaged and the vehicle is occupied. For surface cleaning, there is a 60-second delay after the function is activated, as well as these power interruption safeguards to shut the device down while the UV-C lights are exposed: door switch, motion sensor, and emergency switch.
